QMD Music Student Share Their Love Of Music At Light House Point

Music students from Quality Music and Dance Share their love of music with the residents of Light house Point.

QMD Students Roar With Cast Member Of The Lion King

The Rafiki tour of the Lion King had several performances at Chrysler Hall. One of the cast members stopped by Quality Music and Danced while the tour was in town, Kayla Rose Aimable shared choreography from the show with the students. The Lioness Chant is a scene in the show where the lionesses go out and hunt for food. The students really enjoyed themselves. After the master class Kayla Rose did a Q&A session where the students got to ask her all kinds of questions about life on tour, where she study and trained, how she got into show business, how the audition process works for a Broadway show and so much more! It was an amazing experience for the students of Quality Music and Dance.

Community Appreciation Party

This past May Quality Music and Dance had their biannual Community Appreciation Party it was a fun time held by all. Students preformed, there was food, face painting, games and more.

QMD Dance Teams Cheer on Super Hero 5K Runners

Saturday April 27th Autism Society of Tidewater, Va hosted their 2nd Annual Super Hero 5K & Lil Hero Fun Run at Chesapeake City Park. Hundreds of runners came out and all the proceeds went to the society. Quality Music And Dance performance teams the Sparklers, Dazzlers & Smile Squad cheered on the runners as they made their way around the course in the park. It was a beautiful day the QMD dancers also entertained the crowd, but their favorite part of the day was cheering on all the Lil Heroes in the fun run! QMD Dance Teams Dance And Play Games To Brighten Others Day

The Sparklers, Dazzlers and Smile Squad from Quality Music and Dance spend their St. Patrick's weekend visiting and performing for the residents of Willow Creek and Lighthouse Pointe retirement community's. The performance teams shared their show with all the residents, after the performance everyone played shamrock bingo. Lots of lucky leprechauns won the bingo games! The dancers really enjoyed getting to know all the residents. QMD is already planning their next visit.

QMD Sparklers and Dazzlers Give Time To Support FACT​ Valentine Event

The annual Valentines event for FACT (Families of Autistic Children in Tidewater) was held in Virginia Beach VA Saturday February 16th. FACT proudly provides recreational programs to enhance the socialization and communication skills of individuals with autism and their families. Quality Music and Dance Performance Team The Sparklers & Dazzlers donate their time at the Valentines party. They volunteered to play games, make crafts and helped with set up and clean up. QMD Cookies and Crafts With Santa

The Students had a great time visiting with Santa and having cookies and milk. Santa said he would be back next year.

QMD Dance Teams Support CHKD Event

The Sparklers and Dazzlers had the honor to entertain guest of the Westin hotel at Town Center, the location of the annual CHKD's breakfast with Santa. The dancers preformed their holiday dance show. You can still make donations at www.chkd.org/Giving/Donate

QMD Performance Teams Wows Disney!​

Quality Music and Dance just returned from Walt Disney World!!! The QMD Sparklers, Dazzlers and Smile Squad performed a twenty-five-minute show at Disney Springs. The performance teams not only performed, they also had an opportunity to take a dance workshop with a Disney cast member who has appeared in many of the shows and parades in all four of the Disney Parks. The teams had an amazing experience sharing their love of dance with an audience from all around the world.
