Quality Music & Dance is a unique school offering quality private & group music and dance classes at one convenient location. Multiple students can take private music lessons and dance classes at the same time on the same day. That means parents only have to drive to one location for everyone's lessons & classes. All of our teachers are either university trained or have professional performance experience.

Our music teachers are dedicated to learning about your personal musical goals and helping you to achieve them. With at least three music teachers for all 5 of the most popular instruments, we are confident that we have the right teacher to meet your music lesson needs.

Our Dance teachers, in addition to their teaching credentials, our teachers have warm personalities, are extremely friendly and dedicated to teaching the style of dance that you or your children want to learn in a fun family friendly environment, with age appropriate choreography and costumes.

We offer Dance Classes and Music Lessons six days a week from early in the morning to late at night to accommodate your busy schedule.

 11:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. Monday - Thursday

11:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. on Friday

10:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. on Saturday

Quality Music and Dance has a proven track record of offering quality lessons in Chesapeake, and the surrounding area year-round. 5. A comfortable environment for students and parents.

Both our locations have plenty of room. In Chesapeake, there is almost 8,000 square feet, including a spacious and parent friendly waiting area with comfortable chairs, kids’ toys, room for siblings to do homework, Wi-Fi, and HD monitors to watch our dancers. We also provide observation windows on every door so that you can watch your child's lesson while you wait. Both locations allow parent to watch or sit in on their children’s music lesson anytime they like.

6. The most technologically advanced and fully stocked music lesson rooms!

Our rooms are stocked with everything you need for music lessons, including amps, stereos, full drum kits with pads, keyboards, pianos and more. All you need to bring is your instrument. We have spent thousands of dollars on our studio to offer soundproofing and observation windows.

Technology is key to success! That’s why we have installed LED monitors in our waiting area, and our dance studios. The monitors have cables that can attach to iPods, iPads, or laptops. This allows students to have a modern and engaging lesson using music and dance teaching apps, music software, Skype, and more. Feel free to "Bring Your Own Device" to your lesson in addition to your instrument!

One of the things that has really set us apart is our focus on providing lessons that are fresh, new, and engaging. There are so many great teaching apps out there now that we felt we had to update our teaching rooms. By doing so, our students have never run the risk of being bored by their lessons. It's a challenge to engage children or adults, but by integrating technology such as teaching apps from the iTunes store, GarageBand, ProTools, you name it, we're providing a cutting-edge lesson experience in the Hampton Roads. 

7. Recitals and More.

Free music recitals held in our studio with 2 baby grand pianos, free customer appreciation parties, dance workshops, master classes and also our year end dance recital. We offer opportunities to perform to showcase our students’ talent throughout the whole year!

The best way for a parent to understand if their investment in lessons is really worth it, is to have their child participate in a recital.

Many of our music students choose to perform in our optional spring and winter biannual music recitals as well

For our music students these recitals are held in our studios recital hall on two baby grand pianos, with free refreshments provided. And unlike many schools in Hampton Roads we do not charge music recital participation or admission fees. 

8. Professional office staff six days a week to serve you.

We offer full time professional customer service for their students six days a week. We have five office team members who are available at the front desk to assist our clients quickly and professionally.

11. Early morning and lunch time lessons for homeschoolers, retirees, college students and working professionals.

Since we open everyday at 11 a.m. we can offer lessons as early as 11 a.m. and we see many students between the hours of 11 a.m.-2 p.m. If you are a homeschool parent, retiree, college student or working professional who has a flexible schedule, take advantage of our early morning and lunch time lesson spots.
